In a celebration of artistry and history, the quaint town of McKinney, Texas, is set to host the Crazy Days in May Quilt Expo, showcasing an impressive collection of antique quilts from May 22 to 24. The quilt display features an extensive donation of 470 quilts, primarily crazy quilts, crafted between 1870 and 2002. According to Museum Director Annie Quinn, it became crucial to honor the significance of these quilts rather than parcel out the collection. In doing so, Chestnut Square can preserve the stories and artistry encapsulated within these works.
